Flying Heritage Collection 071809 : Microsoft Co-Founder and philanthropist Paul Allen has put together a collection of world war I and II fighter aircraft and keeps them in a hangar at Everett Washington's Paine Field. Every other summer Saturday at noon, he has his pilot friends take a couple of the airplanes out for an hour of "exercize" to show them off. The public is welcome to come and watch, for free. It is unique to keep so many airplanes like these in flying condition and to conduct a mini airshow for the public on a scheduled basis. We are fortunate to have this opportunity. Thanks Paul Allen!
